The 18th UK Heat Transfer Conference

We are pleased to announce that Hexxcell will attend the 18th UK Heat Transfer Conference to be held in Birmingham on the 9-11th of September 2024.

Hexxcell’s CEO Dr. Francesco Coletti will open the conference with a talk titled “Exploring Artificial Intelligence Applications to Heat Transfer: the Good, the Bad, the Hybrid” to discuss the benefits and limitations of AI algorithms over traditional physics-based models when applied to thermal systems.

Moreover, other members of the Hexxcell team will chair the sessions dedicated to fluid flow and heat transfer technology:

- Our Data Analytics Specialist Dr. Nima Nazemzadeh will deliver a presentation titled "A Machine Learning Approach for the Prediction of Flow Boiling Heat Transfer Coefficients in Small to Micro-tubes."

- Our Applications Engineer Dr. Monica Tirapelle will focus on AI predictive capabilities with a lecture on “Prediction of Fouling by Calcium Phosphate in a Cooling Water System Using Machine Learning.”
