Hexxcell’s CTO delivers a Keynote Lecture at the 15th UK Heat Transfer Conference

Dr. Coletti, Hexxcell’s Chief Technology Officer, delivered a Keynote Lecture entitled “Is Fouling Still the Major Problem in Heat Transfer?” at the UK Heat Transfer Conference held on 8-9 September 2015 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

In his talk, Dr. Coletti explained the key reasons why fouling has been identified as the major problem in heat transfer, illustrated the flaws of current design and operating practices and discussed recent advances in the understanding of fouling phenomena in various industries. The presentation also featured a brief review of fouling mitigation strategies and some case studies specific to the refining and petrochemical industry.
