Hexxcell’s Applications Engineer awarded Imperial College’s Townend prize

The Townend prize, awarded annually by Imperial College London, recognises excellence in research in the area of fuel production. This year’s winner was Laura Lanchas Fuentes who has just completed an MSc in Process Systems Engineering at Imperial College London under the supervision of Prof. Macchietto with a thesis named “Optimal Operation of Large Heat Exchange Networks”.

After her MSc Laura joined Hexxcell as an Applications Engineer and is now working on the development of Hexxcell Studio and consulting major oil&gas companies to improve energy efficiency of their refinery operations.
