Maurizio Rovaglio holds a Master and a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering. A passion for knowledge-sharing has led to almost 20 years' experience as a University Professor at Politecnico di Milano teaching various process control, automation and process optimization courses. In 2007, following a spin-off, Maurizio left the Academic environment to join the industrial world. Across the last 15 years Maurizio covered the role of VP CTO Oil & Gas Technology and Solutions @Schneider Electric based in Houston, Vice President Software Sales and Vice President Solutions delivery @Invensys based in Dubai. Maurizio is today Head of Digital Enterprise Business for Process Industry @Siemens Digital Industries operating company based in Milan (Italy).
University Professor, Industry Manager and Thought leader, Maurizio is holding multiple patents as well as authors of over 150 technical articles published on international scientific journals or delivered as presentations to multiple scientific and industrial international conferences. Maurizio is today also board member of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering with focus on digitalization.
